Late last year I got on my 3000th flight, visited my 250th city and realised I’d gone pro at using frequent flyer and hotel rewards points.
(I’m good but not as good as the guys at pointhacks.com.au they really know their stuff)
I’m a firm believer in gratitude and while I’ve had alot and lost alot something I’ll always be grateful for is the hundreds of friends I have from around the world. People who enjoy traveling (who often can’t sit still) are a special breed and I’m honoured to be one of them.
I caught the travel bug in my early 20’s and have been lucky enough to visit 82 countries since then.
I love that through the many different mediums available to us today we can communicate as if we are mere suburbs away. The world is definitely getting smaller and quite often simply from reading my news feed I know what’s happening in cities all over the world (from trusted personal sources not the grubby media)
It’s incredible to experience different cultures, immerse yourself while living in different cities and have your mind awaken. It forces you outside your comfort zone and urges you to research your surroundings. I love that I know the political, taxation, business nuances and property markets of so many places. It definitely gives you a leg up when it comes to grabbing opportunities.
I have a life goal to visit every country in the world and I know I’ll achieve it
In the meantime if you want my opinion on a particular country, I’ve probably done the research. I also know some incredible travel agents if you need a recommendation of someone who knows what their talking about.
Let me know if I can help
